Saskatchewan Roughriders vs. Edmonton Elks Mosaic Stadium October 24th, 2026

Get ready for an epic showdown as the Edmonton Elks head to Calgary for what promises to be a memorable clash. If you've ever been to a game at McMahon Stadium, you know the energy is contagious, and the atmosphere electrifies every time these two teams meet. The Elks have a rich history of pushing boundaries, being the first CFL team to hire a full-time fitness trainer back in the day, and they've got some pretty impressive highlights like their MVP running back in 2030 and a legendary rusher who took home the league’s top honor in 1973. Beyond the field, they’re also champions of sustainability, making efforts to keep their stadium eco-friendly, which is pretty cool if you ask me. Watching a game live isn’t just about the football; it’s about feeling the roar of the crowd, sharing those unforgettable moments with fellow fans, and soaking in the thrill of rivalry. And trust me, tickets sell out fast, so snag yours early to avoid missing out on the pre-game hype and all the excitement that comes with a highly anticipated matchup in Calgary. Whether it’s your first game or you’re a seasoned fan, this one’s shaping up to be a day to remember.

McMahon Stadium is more than just a football field; it’s a landmark where history, excitement, and community collide. Home to the Calgary Dinos and a hub for epic battles like the 1993 Grey Cup, where fans still talk about that unforgettable victory of the Edmonton Eskimos over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, this place has seen it all. The energy on game day is contagious, especially around the East Side Stand where tailgaters turn the parking lot into a sea of cheers, grills, and good old Canadian camaraderie. It’s a spot that feels like a second home for many, especially with its premium Club Seats offering a perfect blend of luxury and a killer view of the action. If heading from Calgary’s Aspen Woods, you’ll find it a breeze, just take SW Bow Trail to Crowchild Trail NW and head north. Plus, it’s only a few blocks east of the University of Calgary, making it super accessible for students and locals alike. Whether you're a die-hard fan rooting for the Edmonton Elks or Calgary teams, McMahon Stadium’s got that authentic, hometown vibe that keeps everyone coming back for more.
